On Monday morning we got up bright and early and reluctantly dropped Caroline off at the airport, then excitedly began our journey towards Spain. Antonio had suggested that we stay off the toll roads and travel south to see some beautiful scenery. We took his suggestion, and headed for Setubal to board a ferry that would take us on our way towards southern Portugal and some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Antonio was right. The country-side was beautiful, and we loved our drive to Lagos, a town in the very southern-most part of Portugal.
The beaches at Lagos were unlike anything we had ever seen, and we hated to leave. We were excited about getting to Olivia's town, though, and realized that we needed to hit the toll roads in order to make better time.
ELEVEN hours after we began our 3 1/2 hour drive to Huelva, we arrived!
Yep, those beaches look a lot like Hawaii. :)
